A temática¹ do II Seminário Internacional de Educação Artística da Escola Superior de Educação Paula Frassinetti suscita, pela sua pertinência e atualidade, a possibilidade de desvelarmos o papel integrado da arquitetura e do design, não como núcleo disciplinar do currículo, mas antes como existência concreta que, na relação com os seus utilizadores e/ou fruidores, se converta em contributo para uma formação inteira que, despojada da materialidade das coisas, se afirme no universo subjetivo das aprendizagens que marcam o presente e o futuro de cada aprendente.

ABSTRACT

Due to its importance and relevance to the present time, the subject ¹ of the II International Seminar of Artistic Education, held by the Higher School of Education of Paula Frassinetti, raises numerous possibilities to unveil the integrated role of architecture and design, not as the core discipline of the curriculum, but rather as a concrete existence in its relation to the mere and/or appreciative users. As so, it is expected that this concrete existence may convert into a contribution to a holistic formation which, stripped of the material nature of things, may assert itself in the subjective learning universe that has a profound impact in the present and future of each student.
